CIRENCESTER Fire Station is running a recruitment campaign this month.
Those interested in becoming a retained firefighter are asked to visit the station in School Lane any Tuesday night in August between 7pm and 9pm. They can also visit the Gloucestershire fire & Rescue website at www.glosfire.gov.uk and fill in an application form.
For those wishing to join the team at the Cirencester Fire Station team must live or work within a reasonable distant from the fire Station.
Des Moore, crew manager at Cirencester Fire Station, said: “It is a fantastic opportunity to serve the community you live in as well as being trained and gaining skills in LGV driving, Trauma care , community fire safety and leadership as well as being part of a highly motivated team.”
