PARTS of Cirencester have been left without television since Thursday.
A number of readers have contacted the Standard to complain they haven’t been able to watch television since disruption started before the weekend.
Colin Thorne, who lives in Lewis Lane, said his TV has started to pixelate on Thursday and had completely gone by Friday.
He said he had been left “incredibly frustrated" trying to get a response from either Giffgaff or BT about what the problem was.
Another reader, who asked not to be named, said he had solved the problem by getting an engineer out but didn’t see why he “should have to pay for Freeview”.
He suggested it may be because of a new 4G tower being erected.
On Saturday, televisions at Gardiner Haskins department store in Cirencester were affected but were repaired by an engineer.
BT will later release a statement on who is to blame for the upheaval.
