TWENTY two firefighters tackled a fire near Cranmore Farm, Chavenage Lane, on Thursday afternoon.

Crews from Tetbury and Nailsworth were initially called to the fire just after 2.30pm.

When they arrived they found an office and workshop on fire.

On arrival the crews were faced with a building well alight. Further crews from Stroud and Cheltenham were called to extinguish the fire which was by then burning powerfully.

Two floors were "severely damaged" by the fire and fire crews stayed on the scene for six hours.

A number of road closures were put in place by Gloucestershire police.
