DOGS dutifully donned their collars to help employees of the Trust Partnership raise money for Cotswold Dogs and Cats Home earlier this month.

Ten employees, three children and 14 dogs turned out for a drizzly Saturday afternoon stroll that raised £232.50.

Thanks to a workplace giving programme Spark set up by Trust Partnership managing director Benjamin Janes, all donations were matched by the company, so the total amount raised ended up being £465.

The money will be used to help Cotswold Dogs and Cats Home continue their work rescuing ill-treated and abandoned animals throughout the Cotswolds area and helping them find homes.

Account manager at the Trust Partnership, Georgina Wright, organised the sponsored walk. She said: “We all thoroughly enjoyed the walk, it was a great way to socialise and being a company of dog and cat lovers we were happy to support a charity close to our hearts.

“The Cotswold Dogs and Cats Home have asked the Trust Partnership to sponsor and judge a dog class at the Gloucestershire Vintage and Country Extravaganza on Sunday, August 2, which we were thrilled to accept.”
