Wiltshire Council has announced various road closures in Cricklade from Monday, August 10.

The closures are to enable the council to carry out kerbing, carriageway resurfacing, road marking and adjustment of ironworks.

They will come into operation on August 10 and are anticipated to be required daily between 7am-7pm until August 19.

The roads affected include:

a) White Horse Road, Cricklade; from its junction with Bath Road to its junction with Lady Mead.

b) Lady Mead, Cricklade; from its junction with White Horse Road to its junction with Cherry Tree Road.

c) Cherry Tree Road, Cricklade; from its junction with Lady Mead for its entire length.

d) Pike House Close, Cricklade; from its junction with Cherry Tree Road for its entire length.

e) Fullers Avenue, Cricklade; from its junction with Cherry Tree Road to its junction with White Horse Road.

Access will be maintained for residents, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

The closures will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
