COMMUTERS have been left stranded as bus services from Fairford to Swindon via Lechlade were cancelled at the last minute.
Puzzled travellers called provider APL travel who told them Gloucestershire County Council had told them last night not to run the 74 service this Friday or Saturday.
They added that signs alerting them to the change should be on the bus stop, but commuters could not find any.
A caller told the Standard his daughter had been left stranded in Lechlade without any warning.
Today is the first day of the Royal International Air Tattoo in Fairford.
