CHARLENE HARVEY, a newcomer to body-building competitions, continues to collect trophies in her new chosen sport.
Charlene, a mum of two from Malmesbury, has picked up her first victories on just her second competitive outing.
Encouraged by three placings at a Pure Elite-sponsored event on her body-building debut last month, and while still in excellent shape, Charlene, 35, entered an event under the Miami Pro Fitness federation banner.
She was hoping simply to gain some more experience under the spotlight but she swept up two of the three categories she entered at the affair on the outskirts of London.
Despite a larger and more experienced field than for her debut, Charlene pulled out all the stops and won the Figure and Muscle Model categories.
She also picked up fourth prize in the Mum's That Lift section.
These impressive results have qualified Charlene for the Miami Pro World Championship in 2016 at the Alban Arena in Hertfordshire.
She has already qualified for the Pure Elite World Finals at Margate in November.
