A CELEBRITY judge has been announced for the highly anticipated dog show at this year’s Gloucestershire Vintage & Country Extravaganza.
Lisa Maxwell came to fame on The Bill and later starred on Loose Women and will be judging the hounds in categories from “prettiest bitch” and “most handsome dog” to “scruffiest mutt” and “golden oldie”.
Entries cost £2 and all money goes toward the Cotswold Dogs and Cats Home, who are raising money to build a permanent homing centre in South Gloucestershire.
The show at South Cerney Airfield from July 31 to August 2, which is staged by Stroud Vintage Transport & Engine Club, is in its 41st year.
It will include the popular Steam Arena, with non-stop steam demonstrations, the Main Arena, which features parades and commentary of all the vintage vehicles on site, and the Countryside Arena, featuring ferret racing and falconry displays.
