A BABY and toddler group in Cirencester is able to buy toys and equipment for the little ones that attends its classes thanks to a donation from Cirencester Town Council.
The £500 grant from Cirencester Town Council, which was approved at its Finance Audit Committee meeting on Thursday, will allow the Chesterton Baby and Toddler Group to undergo an expansion which would include the creation of a toy library.
The cash was approved at the Cirencester Town Council meeting on Thursday where councillors unanimously agreed to giving the group the grant.
Councillor Nigel Robbins said: “I think we should support them as far as we can.”
The creation of a toy library, will allow the group the group to swap and share toys with other groups in the area.
