ART and animal lovers have been enjoying the Midsummer Hare Art Extravaganza, which has been appearing across Cirencester in various venues in recent weeks.
Almost 30 artists have contributed 101 paintings and works of art and this celebration of local creativity can still be viewed in the parish church, Cafe Mosaic, Stratton House Hotel and Waterstones until July 3.
The work, which includes watercolours, drawings, oils and mosaics, first went on display on June 15.
These venues form part of an art trail whereby "harers" have to find all 25 "golden" hare cards across town hidden in the participating galleries and venues. Trail forms and leaflets detailing the venues and galleries involved are in the VIC and Bingham House.
