A LONG-STANDING gift shop in Cirencester has now closed, although customers will still be able to buy items online.
Vice president of Cirencester Chamber of Commerce Jonathan Davies has decided to close up his family store Lock Stock and Barrel after running it for 11 years.
Before him his aunt and uncle Tom and Marilyn Warner ran the Market Place shop for more than 10 years.
"The time is right to move on and try new challenges," said Jonathan, 50. "Coupled with a few health issues and an opportunity to move on, it is a good decision for us.
"I will be moving large parts of the business online and looking to expand the wholesale side in due course so we won't be disappearing all together.
"Cirencester is a great town and me and my wife Clare look forward to having more time to shop in town and support the many great independent retailers and larger businesses the town has to offer."
