POLICE are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary at a house in Moreton-in-Marsh.

The burglary happened between 3-3.40am on May 10 when burglars broke into a house in St George's Close.

A man in his 50s was asleep upstairs and awoke to find a masked man in his bedroom who began to verbally threaten him. The victim told the offenders he had some money in the house and they subsequently escaped with thousands of pounds in cash.

The first offender, described as the ringleader, is white, aged between 25-28 years old, six feet tall and of medium build. He was wearing a dark hooded top with the hood up, dark tracksuit bottoms and dark scarf covered his face. The second man is around 22 years of age, about 5' 7" tall and of slim build .
