A SUBSTANTIAL reward is being offered to anyone who knows the whereabouts of a classic motorbike stolen from Cirencester earlier this month.
Peter Marsh, 51, discovered his classic white, red and blue Honda XL 600 LM motorbike had been stolen sometime during the night of Wednesday, June 10 from his garage in Sheep Street, Cirencester.
The garage, based opposite the house, was locked but Peter said the lock had been forced overnight.
A black P4 push bike was also taken. The motorbike is worth around £1,700 but Peter added it is worth a lot more to him sentimentally and he just wants to get it back.
He has reported the crime to the police and is also fitting his garage, in 27 Sheep Street, with a heavy duty lock, security lights and an alarm.
If anyone has any information they should call the police on 101. To find out about the reward call the Standard office on 01285 627320 or email Peter directly at pemarsh@mypostoffice.co.uk for more.
