THE name of the man who was killed by a car outside Cirencester has been released after a long search for his family.
Gloucester Coroners Court named Marcin Hulnik as the man who died on the A429 Stow Road in the early hours of morning on Sunday, May 17.
The 38-year-old Polish man’s name was not released for several days while police and the Polish embassy searched for his next of kin.
Police have confirmed that his family have been informed and said that investigations into the event are ongoing but no arrests have been made.
Mr Hulnik had moved Poulton just two weeks before he was hit by a white Ford Transit Van.
Paramedics from Cirencester Hospital performed CPR but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
