A KEMBLE flooring specialist is celebrating after picking up a special four-star award at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show for the second year running.
The Turtle Mat Company picked up the prestigious award at the event last week, which is given by to those that have gone the extra mile presenting their stand.
The stand featured a potting shed and wood store, which was designed to display mats and plants that were sourced from , including Westkington Nursery, near Badmington, Malmesbury Nursery and Hortico Nursery, Sherston.
Susan Leaver, commercial director of the company said: “It’s well known that the show gardens at Chelsea are graded but all the trade stands come under scrutiny too and it’s really rewarding to have all our hard work acknowledged.
“We’ve worked with the show for ten years now drawing on inspiration from their gardens and archive artworks, many of our best-selling designs are from the RHS collection.”
The award-winning stand featured a potting shed and wood store-cleverly designed to display mats and the company sourced plants from local nurseries across the Cotswolds and Wiltshire.
