IS YOUR baby the most beautiful in all of Cirencester? A baby show will be held in the town on Saturday, June 13 to raise vital funds for the hospital.

The popular annual Cirencester Hospital League of Friends summer fete and baby show will run from 2pm at the hospital grounds to raise money for a Scopeguide for the endoscopy department at the newly-opened Thames ward.

As well as a baby show, there will be stalls selling books, toys, bric-a-brac, tombola and plants. Homemade cakes, teas and ice creams are also available and there will be children's entertainment, face painting and games.

This year adults can have their fortunes told by Gipsy Rose.

The main attraction, the baby show, is being sponsored by Care UK this year, which runs the Independent Treatment Centre at the hospital. There are four age groups, zero to four months, five to eight months, nine to 12 months and 13 to 18 months. Entry per baby is £3 and includes a free photograph. Booking in for babies starts at 1.50pm.

Last year's fete and show raised an impressive £2,605 for the hospital, with baby Sophie Croome taking the crown. She won in the nine-12 month category and then was awarded Baby of the Year.

To enter fill out the coupon in this week's Wilts and Glos Standard (Thursday, May 28) and bring it along on the day of the show.
