POLICE are continuing to investigate why a 15 year old boy was found hanging from a tree in Robert Burns Avenue, Cheltenham last Thursday.
A family liaison officer is working with the boy's family and school to provide support to them.
Although officers are not treating this incident as suspicious, police still need to establish the full circumstances and background.
Police are appealing for anyone with information which to contact police without delay on 101, quoting Incident 345 of May 21.
It is vital that any information available is communicated directly to the police and not circulated among third parties.
The Police are grateful for the support of the local community and the information that has been received.
However as this remains a live and on-going investigation, police are not in a position to comment further and asking people to avoid speculation about the circumstances and remain sensitive towards the family at a difficult time.
