VISITORS will receive the rare chance to see inside Colesbourne Arboretum this Saturday and Sunday as part of a public open weekend.
The arboretum, based in between Cheltenham and Cirencester, will be open on Sunday, May 24 and bank holiday Monday, May 25 from 12.45pm.
Visitors are invited to bring picnics to eat in the gardens and five guided tours will be available throughout the afternoon.
Owned by Sir Henry Elwes, the collection was started in the 1880s and has expanded during the last 40 years with trees from around the world.
Guided tours will take place at 1pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3pm and 4pm on both days. Details on 01242 870264 or 07973 432712.
