HE HAS missed recent matches through injury but Steve Leigh has still won the Standard's Cirencester Town Player of the Month award for the second successive month.
The 36-year-old central defender joined Cirencester at the start of this season.
Comfortable in possession and a fine passer, Leigh is an experienced centre-half who marshals Town's defence.
Last season, he was player/manager of Newport, Isle of Wight.
Havant and Waterlooville, Chichester and Bognor Regis are among his previous clubs.
The Standard sponsors the monthly award, with supporters voting for each winner by completing ballot slips in the bar at the club's Corinium Stadium.
