THE 54-year-old Swindon cyclist who collided with a lorry near Cricklade has died.

Police said the man died on Saturday as a result of the injuries he suffered when he collided with the rear of a parked lorry on Cirencester Road, Latton, just before 4pm on Thursday, April 23.

A police spokesman said: "He sustained a significant head injury and a broken neck and was taken to the Great Western Hospital and then on to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.

"He sadly passed away on Saturday."
