RARE sheep that went missing from a field near Sapperton on Friday have been found.
A total of 20 rare, black Hebridean sheep - all due to give birth in a matter of days - went missing from the Bathurst-owned field last week.
Despite an extensive search, they were not found over the weekend and there were fears they had been stolen. They were last seen by their owner last Wednesday evening.
The sheep were found this morning in a nearby wood and were spotted after a helicopter flew over the area.
All the sheep are safe and well and lambing has now started.
