A BUSINESSWOMAN from Wiltshire who holds dance classes for pre-school age children in Cirencester has been nominated in a national awards scheme.

diddi dance, set up by Anne-Marie Martin, has been nominated for a What's On 4 2015 Junior Award in the category for best national pre-schooler development activity for two to five years.

And Caroline Steele, the diddi dance franchise owner for Swindon, Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire, has been nominated in the most outstanding activity leader-south category. Both Caroline, and her business diddi dance, will go on to the national voting stages.

The awards are in their ninth year for 2015 and celebrate the best activities, classes, people and places throughout the country as nominated and voted for by parents, carers and parents-to-be.

diddi dance organises pre-school classes for girls and boys in Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

Jo Brewer-Powell took her 17 month old daughter to a Cirencester diddi dance class and said: "We spent the rest of the day buzzing from it! Leading a new group of toddlers in dancing games and routines is no easy task but the teacher, Caroline, was brilliant.

"Her enthusiasm was infectious and even the shy or uncertain children were participating by the end. If you want a class that you can enjoy with your child and help create lasting memories then I fully recommend diddi dance."

Parents can visit whatson4littleones.co.uk to vote for diddi dance in the national finals. The winners will be announced at the live award ceremony on Friday, June 19.
