A CIRENCESTER charity campaigner has found a guilt-free and delicious way of raising money.

Eira Hooper, founder of Cotswold Breakthrough Breast Cancer, has launched the Corner Stone Cake.

She has updated a secret ancient monastic recipe to produce the delicious fruit cake you can eat with a completely clear conscience and do your bit for Breakthrough Breast Cancer at the same time.

The cake is free from fats, added sugar and dairy produce and for every slice sold, the Corner Stone Café and Bookshop in Dollar Street is making a donation to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Manager Alison Brown said: "We are really proud to sell the new cake at the Corner Stone and so many people have asked for the recipe.

"We have produced a special laminated recipe card for sale from which we will also make a donation to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

"In fact the cake has been so popular we have had to get in extra stocks from Eira and put in an extra table in the café."
