CHILDREN are already getting in a flap about the eggciting activates at Bourton-on-the-Water’s Birdland this Easter.
From March 28 – April 12 children will be able to learn all about the breeding cycle, including seeing chicks hatch.
There will even be an opportunity to meet the first Emu ever to hatch at Birdland’s.
Keepers are expecting seven more Emus to hatch over the Easter period.
On Penguin Shore there will be a fluffy King Penguin chick and nesting Humboldt penguins who have laid 5 eggs so far.
Families can join in the Easter Challenge Quiz, from 3 – 12 April where children must hunt to find ten eggs around the site and answer some ornithological questions.
