COTSWOLD Archaeology, the body that found the Roman tombstone, is to hold its annual lecture.
The Mike Aston lecture will take place March 18 at Bingham Hall, King Street Cirencester.
It will focus on Grismond’s Tower, Cirencester’s western Roman cemeteries and the Roman tombstone found at next to St James’s Place in February. The lecture will be presented by Professor Tim Darvill and chief executive of Cotswold Archaeology Neil Holbrook.
