AFTER her usual quiz team disbanded Cirencester resident Karen Spriggs was so keen to keep quizzing that she decided to post a notice in a local supermarket asking for new members.
Karen explained that the team had previously been to charity quizzes across the county and as far afield as Swindon but after several members moved away the group got together less and less frequently.
Her old team, customarily called ‘My Brain Hurts’, won many of the quizzes that they attended though Karen put this down to her luck in finding such talented teammates.
“I don’t want to put a team together to go to every pub quiz,” she said “I want to take part in different charity quizzes – I like variety.”
Karen hopes to find relaxed and knowledgeable teammates to help her win quizzes organised by good causes in the area.
