A MAN and a woman have been sentenced for taking part in the supply of mephedrone in the Forest of Dean.
Suzanne Sogukcesme was sentenced for possession with intent to supply a class B drug to 9 months in prison, suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay a £100 victim surcharge.
The drugs in the possession of Sogukcesme, 36, of Saxon Place in Sedbury, associated paraphernalia, phones linked to the offence and £180 in cash have either been forfeited or destroyed.
Aaron Haile pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of a class B drug and was sentenced to 40 hours unpaid community work, to be completed before February 16 next year and was ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge.
The drugs in his possession, associated paraphernalia and phones linked to the offence have also been forfeited or destroyed.
The pair were originally arrested after a raid by police at an address in Saxon Place in Sedbury on 30 June 2014 in which over 20 grams of suspected mephedrone in powder form was found.
