A GLOUCESTERSHIRE beauty queen, who is also a former Cirencester College student, was delighted to be crowned winner of Come Dine With Me this month.
Sophie Lydia Smith, 24, better known as Miss Cheltenham, was invited to go onto the popular Channel 4 show but said she never expected to win.
Her guests were poured a glass of fizz by her friend 'Mr England' and then served a crab tian, lemon and thyme chicken with locally grown carrots, and chocolate fondant complete with a sparkler.
"I am absolutely delighted that the hard work and passion for fine dining and entertainment paid off," said Sophie.
She then entertained her guests with her own beauty pageant, and even invited them to strut their stuff down her staircase.
Sophie won a grand prize of £1,000 thanks to her 'glamorous' evening. She spent most of it on the charities she works with, but also treated herself and her boyfriend to a meal.
