POPULAR annual air show at Fairford, RIAT, is already highly anticipated for 2015, even more so now that organisers have announced The Vulcan XH558 will be flying in to the event.

The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) sees aircraft from all over fly in to Fairford in July each year for one of the biggest air shows in the world.

The Vulcan is the first aircraft announcement for this summer's event and organisers have said it is a perfect fit with their 'securing the skies - past, present and future' theme.

Vulcan To The Sky Trust chief executive Robert Pleming said: "We are really delighted to return XH558 to such a prestigious event on the aviation calendar." Vulcan XH558 will fly into the show on Friday, July 17 and will then be on static display as part of a 'pit' experience where visitors get the chance to get up close.

Then on the weekend, July 18-19, the aircraft will soar into the skies above RAF Fairford and perform in the flying display.
