RESIDENTS and staff at a care complex in Cirencester have raised £555.12 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance through a Christmas fair and other events.
Those who live and work at the assisted care housing village Mulberry Court are even hosting a pantomime on December 27 from 7-8pm to further raise funds for the life-saving charity.
Margaret Miller said Wiltshire Air Ambulance had come into the court to do a talk about the work they do. To support them, the residents set up a tombola and other stalls at a festive fair to raise money.
"We try to organise a charity event each year," said Margaret. "Next year we could do it for testicular cancer."
Everyone is welcome to the Mulberry Court pantomime on December 27. Entry is free but donations are welcome.
