A CHARITY concert in Cirencester raised more than £1,200 for Cirencester Hospital and Cotswold Volunteers.
The variety concert, held at Bingham Hall at the beginning of November, featured local performers including ukulele band The Ukeydukes and men's choir The Magnificent AK47, both from Ashton Keynes.
After the interval artists from MJ-UK performed songs from musicals followed by a varied programme presented by Cirencester Community Choir. The evening ended with a singalong including songs commemorating the centenary of the First World War.
All money raised will go towards a valuable piece of equipment for the endoscopy department of Cirencester Hospital and also towards a specially adapted vehicle so Cotswold Volunteers can transport the disabled in wheelchairs.
