POLICE closed two lanes of the A417 this morning after a large crane broke down on the A417 near Crickley hill.
Officers were on the scene for more than three hours but the crane was recovered around 9.30 and the road was quickly reopened.
While two lanes were closed the police operated a contra-flow system to minimise delays.
