POLICE are investigating after a huge vehicle smashed into the side of a shop in Moreton-in-Marsh this morning and thieves stole a cash machine.
Shortly before 2am this morning, police were called to the High Street in Moreton after a yellow 'Caterpillar' telescopic loader was seen on fire outside a store.
It is believed it was used to steal an ATM from the shop which caused a massive hole in the wall of the building.
The thief (or thieves) then left the scene with the ATM and fire crews extinguished the fire.
Detectives are investigating the incident and are asking any who saw or heard anything suspicious, or who saw a white van leaving the scene around this time, to call them on 101 quoting incident number 029 of November 17.
