SHOPPERS were left out in the cold this morning, as fashion store Peacocks delayed its grand opening without sending out any advance warning.
Peacocks was due to open this morning in Cirencester's new retail park, with the company offering a £30 Golden Ticket for the first 20 customers, to spend in store.
Excited shoppers turned up early on the day of the launch, only to find a small sign on the closed doors, saying the launch was now planned for Tuesday.
The delay was apparently down to a power failure.
