Stock image: A calf was stuck in a Tetbury fence late last night
POLICE were called to a field near Tetbury last night after reports that a calf was stuck in a barbed wire fence.
Officers made their way to the scene after a member of the public called at 12.10am this morning to say the baby cow was struggling to free itself from the wire.
Through trying to free itself it had fallen into the road several times.
Police managed to free the calf and it made its way back to the field safely.
