Woman taken to hospital after her car collides with ambulance on the A433
A WOMAN had to be taken to hospital on Friday with back and neck injuries after her Volkswagon golf car collided with an off-duty ambulance on the A433.
The road was closed between 9.45am and 10.30am following the incident which took place near the Malmesbury turning.
Mark Jones, a spokesman for Gloucestershire police, said: "The woman had minor injuries. From what we have been told she went to the hospital just as a caution."
