POLICE are appealing for information following a crash involving a motorbike and two cars at Highnam yesterday evening.

The crash happened just after 5.30pm on the B4215, near Highnam Village Hall.

The man was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with injuries to his leg and pelvis. He remains in a serious condition. The women in the other cars were uninjured.

Road closures were in place until 11pm while a collision investigation took place.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the crash, particularly the driver of a small blue car that was turning from the entrance to Highnam Village Hall who may be unaware of the crash.
