A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital last night after losing control round a Cirencester stretch of road.
The driver, believed to be in his mid-fifties lost control of his Honda motorbike around a gentle left hand turn on The Whiteway, just past Berry Hill Crescent.
Police and paramedics attended the scene yesterday at around 4.40pm and the man, from Evesham, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital by land ambulance.
Initially an air ambulance was to be called. The man suffered a wrist fracture as a result of the accident.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. A police spokesman said it was not known how the motorcyclist crashed.
