YOUNG people in the Cotswolds have the chance to buy tickets to tickets to an exciting new weekend event, launching this autumn in Cirencester.
Dubbed the biggest club nights in the Cotswolds for under 18's and under 16's, the scheme have been set up to give young people in the area something new and fun to do.
Custard for under 16's and Mustard for under 18's are two monthly events set up by Ozone youth club, Reva night club, Gloucestershire Police, Cirencester Town Council and Cotswold District Council.
"We conducted a survey on young people in the town," said Ozone youth worker Clare Bartlett. "And this is what they said they wanted."
Reva nightclub owner Dan Lafford said he hoped the events would encourage young people in the town to socialise in an alcohol free zone.
"We're breath testing everyone who comes in and if it's positive they won't be allowed in," he said. "A lot of parents had been worrying about that."
Tickets cost £5, with all profits going towards the cost of future events for young people in the town. The first event Custard event is on October 31 while the first Mustard event is on November 7. Both will be held at Reva nightclub.
