A CRICKLADE man who has denied intentionally driving his BMW motorcar at a man on foot is to face trial by judge and jury.

Mark Armstrong, of Stone Lane, Cricklade, pleaded not guilty to dangerous driving and actual bodily harm when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.

The 25-year-old is alleged to have driven his car at Thomas Dalby, hitting him, during an incident on Highworth Road, Swindon, on Tuesday, January 14 this year.

Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to Wednesday, November 19 and released Armstrong on unconditional bail until then.
