A MAN has now been bailed by police in connection with their investigation into the death of an adult male cyclist, who died yesterday following a road traffic collision between him and a black BMW.
The cyclist died following a collision between him and a black BMW.
The collision took place on Stroud Road (B4072), close to St Barnabas Church, next to the St Barnabas roundabout, around 7am today.
Police believe this incident may have been a hit and run and are searching for passengers who may have been inside the BMW.
The A4173 Stroud Road remains closed while investigations continue and is expected to stay closed until later this afternoon.
Diversions are still in place.
