A MAN was set on fire after two teenagers threw an object containing flammable liquid at him while he was walking his dog.
Police are appealing for information after two teenagers on bicyles threw the object at the man on Mill Lane playing fields in Brockworth on Saturday, August 30 at 2.30pm.
The man, who was smoking at the time, suffered minor burns to his lower leg and thumb after his trousers were set on fire. He was treated by a paramedic and went to Gloucester Royal Hospital before returning home.
He could not give any more description of the teenagers except to say that they were youths.
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident 148 of Tuesday 2 September.
