AN ALERT was triggered after a householder returned his home near Corston to find two men in his shed.
The pair, discovered at 9.15 on Wednesday night, fled towards the village in a white van, thought to be an Insignia model. One of the men was wearing a pink top and a baseball cap.
PC Mike Tripp from Malmesbury Police said: “It is clear that we still have people visiting the area to target sheds and outbuildings so please keep vigilant and secure your property the best you can.”
