TAMPER resistant labels are to be applied to bikes at Cirencester police station on August 28.
Between 10am and 2pm there will be a cycle marking and registration event to improve cycle security in the town.
The marking service, which usually costs £16.99, will be free of charge and will include registration on Bike Register, the national cycle database.
All are welcome to bring along bikes to be marked by police who will mark and register as many as they can before 2pm.
