RUNNERS from Cirencester Athletics and Triathlon Club have completed a village fun run in an unusual way.

Two of the club’s members raced in the Hatherop Fun Run while wheeling their children in front of them in specially designed running buggies.

The five kilometre multi-terrain race saw Simon Campbell pushing daughter Annabel and Rob Forbes pushing a young man named Heath.

Despite the buggies the pair managed first and second place overall for the race with Rob the victor and Simon the runner up.

The club congratulated the pair for their efforts and gave their appreciation to Annabel and Heath for being excellent passengers.
