AN ELDERLY man is being sought by police after £100 was stolen from a wallet at a garden centre.
The wallet was taken from Highfield Garden World on the A38 at Whitminster between 1.45pm and 2pm on Wednesday May 21.
The owner of the wallet left it on the counter after paying for goods in the store and the offender handed it back in only after taking £100.
The suspect is described as white, male and between 60 and 70 years old. He is around 5’5”-5’10” tall, of medium build with white hair.
He was wearing a purple or lilac coloured shirt and dark trousers.
Police have released images of an elderly man that they would like to speak to in relation to the theft of a wallet from a garden centre in the county.
Anyone who may recognise the images are asked to contact Gloucestershire Police quoting crime number 12323/14.
