RUGBY legend Phil Vickery has teamed up with the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity to raise money for a life-saving emergency service.

The rugby player's clothing brand, Raging Bull Sportswear, offers charity-branded clothes to the public which will help raise money for the ambulance charity, which serves six counties.

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity aircrew will also don the brand's sportswear as part of their new uniform.

Phil Vickery MBE said he was thrilled to be working with the vital charity. both with the clothing partnership and personally as an ambassador.

"Throughout my career I have been acutely aware of the potentially life-threatening injuries that can take place on the pitch, so I am keen to help raise awareness of this incredibly vital emergency service," he said.

Jason Levy, fundraising and marketing director for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity said it was clear that the two organisations could work together well.

"Raging Bull Sportswear is a rugby heritage clothing brand and on average we airlift people with sporting injuries every three days, a great proportion of which relate to rugby accidents."
