TWO men ran up a tab of nearly £100 at a bar then left without paying.

The pair were drinking at the Montpellier Wine Bar in Cheltenham on Friday, 4 July between 7.15pm and 11.40pm.

One of them provided bar staff with a bank card and throughout the evening ordered beer, cider and spirits to the value of £93.55. But near closing time, he asked for the card to be returned temporarily so he could make a purchase on his mobile phone.

The card was subsequently not handed back to staff and the bill was not settled.

Police are urging the men to come forward or anyone who recognises them from the above e-fit images or has any further information about the incident to call 101, quoting crime number CR/16010/14.
