Keith Messenger, President of Northleach and Fosse Lions Club, and Membership Co- Coordinator for Lions District 105W, has been presented with The Lions International President’s Award, one of the highest awards in Lions.

Past International Director Howard Lee made the presentation on behalf of International President Barry Palmer. The award was presented for the ‘dedicated service to those in need that serves as an example to the Lions, the community and the world around you.’ In addition to his work in the Northleach area, for the past two years Keith assisted five additional Cotswold Lions Clubs, and now has the position of Membership Co-Coordinator covering a large part of South and Mid Wales, and the South West.

Lions International is the largest voluntary service organisation in the World with eight clubs in Gloucestershire and six in Wiltshire. Every penny raised goes to charity. Members cover all operational costs, and in addition to serving local communities, enjoy social events with members and friends.
