PUPILS from St Mary’s school in Tetbury packed away their pens and notebooks and spent a night under the stars last month.
Key Stage 1 pupils camped out in huge bell tents and experienced a range of bushcraft activities and team games.
They also enjoyed toasted marshmallows around the campfire, made with lanterns.
Lyn Pressman, a spokesman for the school said: “It was an absolute treat for the children to end their year in Key Stage 1.
“A superb way to end an action packed topic of exploration and survival.”
The camp was the sealing of the lid activity to close the children's learning about the great outdoors.
